Welcome to Guardian Lock. By starting a trial, purchasing, installing, or using Guardian Lock, you agree to these Terms of Service.
Subscription and Free Trial
Guardian Lock includes a seven-day free trial.
- A payment method is required to begin the trial.
- Nothing is charged when the trial begins.
- Unless canceled before the trial ends, the subscription automatically begins at $14.99 USD per year, plus any applicable taxes.
- The subscription renews annually unless canceled before the next renewal date.
Subscriptions, payments, taxes, cancellations, and refunds are processed by Paddle, our authorized Merchant of Record.

License
An active Guardian Lock subscription provides a personal, non-transferable license to use Guardian Lock on up to four compatible devices owned or managed by the subscriber.
Guardian Lock currently supports:
- Google Chrome on Windows 10 and Windows 11
- Chromebook and ChromeOS
You may not:
- Redistribute or resell Guardian Lock.
- Share your product key with people outside your household.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the software.
- Remove or bypass licensing or security features.
- Use Guardian Lock for an unlawful purpose.
Ownership
Guardian Lock and its software, graphics, documentation, trademarks, and related materials remain the intellectual property of the developer.
Your subscription provides permission to use Guardian Lock according to these terms. It does not transfer ownership of the software or its intellectual property.
Updates
An active annual subscription includes updates, improvements, and bug fixes released during the subscription period.
Features may be changed, improved, replaced, or removed as Guardian Lock and supported third-party services evolve.
Refunds and Cancellations
Cancellation and refund eligibility are explained in our Refund and Cancellation Policy:

Canceling prevents future charges but does not automatically refund a completed payment.

Parental Supervision
Guardian Lock is designed to help parents and authorized adults manage access to YouTube. It is intended to supplement responsible adult supervision, not replace it.
No parental-control product can guarantee that every inappropriate video, advertisement, link, or method of bypassing restrictions will be blocked in every circumstance.
Third-Party Services
Guardian Lock interacts with services operated by third parties, including Google Chrome, the Chrome Web Store, YouTube, Paddle, and Hostinger.
Changes made by these services may occasionally affect compatibility or functionality. We will make reasonable efforts to address compatibility problems through updates.
Disclaimer
Guardian Lock is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use of, or inability to use, Guardian Lock.
Any liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the Guardian Lock subscription.
Changes to These Terms
These Terms of Service may be updated as Guardian Lock develops or legal and operational requirements change.
The current version will be published on this page with an updated effective date.
Consumer Rights
Nothing in these terms limits rights provided by applicable consumer-protection laws.
